Frequently Asked Questions

1. What time is the trial session?

Trial sessions are run throughout the season on Sunday mornings from 7:10am to 8:30am. Please arrive by 7:10am as we will need to give you the quick how-to-paddle instruction.

2. Where do you meet up for training?
The address of the training venue is Uhrs Point Reserve, Concord Road Rhodes, NSW 2138. The most convenient carpark is at the end of Leeds street opposite the Ikea warehouse. The club site is 10-15 minutes walk from Rhodes train station.

3. What should I wear and bring?
We advise you to wear clothing that is quick-drying, breathable, water sports appropriate and a towel. Anti-slip shoes/ closed in scandals will be good or shoes that you don’t mind getting wet (it’s a water sport!)
Bring a bottle of water to take onto the boat, put sunscreen on prior if you wish to. And bring yourself 😊

4. What about equipment?
The club has a selection of paddles of varying sizes that you can use as well as life jacket.
All equipment is washed, cleaned and dried after each session.
