Yet another early start to Darling Harbour we headed.
Even more tents this year as club numbers have grown
A 1st for DSA, we entered 3 mixed crews, an opens, 2 women’s and a masters mixed!
Ready we were to go head to head with the best NSW has on offer.

Our dragon boat communities’ entry into the Year of the Rat.
Fanfares, parades and dotting the eyes started the day.

The biggest race of the season yet – nerves were mounting
Heats after heats lead to the finals where DSA were well represented.
Energies were high as the teams in the finals did DSA proud.

Racing ended, a long day drawn to the end.
A theme was in order – Fijian outfits, leis and frangipani’s all around.
To the AB for beverages and a night of merriment.
