Penrith Regatta Centre provided a great venue for the final race for 2016. Impressive organization with racing underway from 0800.
Congratulations to all those who attended Sunday, between racing and relaxing the day certainly flew by. The excitement of races won by a 400th of a second or less was phenomenal.
I kept hearing George’s voice in my head about aggression and training attendance! I’m seeing my doctor next week –It’s not normal to hear voices!!!
The Senior A mixed team did very well winning their two heats and marginally, by a dragon’s head, second in the final. The excitement was palpable and for Sue and I to be asked to collect the trophy and pins for this team was a great honour. Very well done team.
Drumming is a new experience and you certainly can feel the boat fly – having been told you are disqualified if you fall off I hung on for dear life!!! Maybe I can relax more next time!!! All great experiences.
Brilliant effort by all teams in all races
Thank you each and every one of you for your support, commitment and passion for DSA – it really is hugely infectious.
