Head Coach: George Louie
A founding member of DSA, and life member of both Dragon Boats NSW and DSA with 25 years paddling experience, George has been DSA’s head coach since 1991. With a wealth of paddling and coaching experience, and after representing Australia as a paddler at the World Dragon boat Championships in Poland in 2003, China in 2004 & Australia 2007. As NSW head coach in 2005, George led the most successful NSW campaign ever at the Australian State Championships with NSW winning gold medals in all categories. George continued on with the role as the Australian Head coach for the 2005 World Championship in Berlin, Germany. George's latest achievement is coaching the 2009 Australian Masters Mixed team to win a gold medal at the World Championships in Prague.
